Fantastic and wonderful to see this magnificent gathering of so many different people, all fighting for justice and opposed to the brutal theft of Palestinian homes and lands and the ugly truth of Israeli policy. I was in Sheikh Jarrah in December 2008, first on December 15 and later that month as well. The al-Kurd family had been forced from their home by thugs pretending to be religious, backed by private "security guards' and the Israeli police and courts. I visited the family's tent in the field near their home, occupied by settlers and protected by the Israeli state. I'm very glad to see how this movement has grown and grown, and how much creativity and energy and determination is in evidence!

Dai L'Kibbush!!! END THE OCCUPATION!!!!
